✦How Author Services work
Every project begins with a review. Von Chera recommends the appropriate path, confirms scope and pricing, and provides an agreement before production begins. Nothing enters production until the author approves the project. No book is published without final author approval.
✦Author account ownership
For Author Services projects, the preferred model is for authors to maintain ownership and control of their publishing and distribution accounts, including Amazon KDP or other platforms when applicable.
Von Chera may prepare files, guide setup, assist with publication steps, review proofs, and support launch. Royalties are paid through the author's publishing-platform account. Von Chera does not receive an ongoing percentage from Book Ready, Published, or Signature projects.

Selected by Von Chera is a curated publishing path, completely separate from paid Author Services. Authors may submit completed or substantially completed manuscripts for consideration.
If Von Chera wishes to publish a selected manuscript, the author receives a separate proposal and publishing agreement before any rights are granted. That agreement clearly addresses copyright, rights granted, term, formats, territories, distribution, royalty structure, production and marketing responsibilities, accounting, payment, termination, and rights reversion.
No standard royalty percentage is promised here. Terms for this path are determined by the individual publishing agreement.
